3/15/2021, 11 AM – Took a sample from the east side near the feeding location. Results from the Aquacheck Test Strips were:
- pH = 6.8
- Total Alkalinity was between 0 and 40 ppm.
- Total Hardness was 50 ppm.
2:00 PM – Collected a new water sample from the same location and tested the Carbonate Hardness (KH) with the API GH & KH Test Kit and the results were between 17 and 35. Dipped another Aquacheck Test Strips and got the same results as above.
Parameters of the last test on 12/4/2020 were:
- pH = 6.2
- Total Alkalinity – 0
- Total Hardness – 25 ppm
- Results with API GH & KH Test Kit – KH – Total hardness – 1 drop
