Continue Reading8/24/2024 – Sprayed Gly at 3 oz./gal around ponds and south ditch’s top of the bank from pole to east gates where the weeds did not get sprayed with Tractor Sprayed 2-3 weeks ago. This completed spraying that strip that was not finished last week when I ran out of Gly.

Continue Reading7/25/2024 – Fertilized Magnolias in the pond yard and the various hydrangeas with 13-13-13. Spread it around the perimeter of the Hydrangeas and in a 6′ wide donut around the magnolias with little inside the drip line.

3/27/2024 – Picked up 10 White Amur Grass Carp from the Alabama Fish & Pond truck at G&D. Put 8 in the big pond and two in the small pond. The plan is they will remove the filamentous algae in the big pond and not let it start in the little one.

Continue Reading07/28/2023 – Cut the tops out of the blueberry bushes as the berries are gone. After years of thinking they need to be shorter, we finally pruned them down to about 6-7 feet tall. That was about 1.5 feet shorter than in the past. The debris filled the truck bed. 07/31/2023
Continue Reading7/18/2023 – Last week sprayed the weeds along the edge but it showered within a hour. Then had a hard rain and it got out of its banks. Only the soft-stem broadleaf weeds died. Resprayed big pond edge for weeds with Shoreclear at 4oz/gal.
