9/1/2025 – We started 10 cuttings from the spring’s two varieties of tomatoes in the 2-year-old finely ground pine bark mulch, and they had a lot of roots. They were planted in the center of the north half between rows of beans that are coming up.

5/31/2025 Sprayed spinosad on tomatoes for lg grn worms and lightly sprayed peppers just in case. Moved Okra seedlings that were too close into gaps where seeds did not germinate. Used push plow with rippers to do corn middles for crab grass and with stirrup hoe along the tiny peas, squash, and cucumbers.

9/5/2024 – Bought two Grape (Tami G) Hybrid Tomatoes and one Husky Cherry Red tomato in the grow boxes on the back patio. The cherry is in the box with the spring basil plant that survived the summer. The seedlings were grown by Bonnie and bought at Lowes.
