This is my computation of the totals that would be applied using the instructions in Note 7 vs. the Recommendations in the chart. I must have a mistake as the values are not even close.
Recmd – P = 2.3 lb per 1000 sf = 100 lbs per ac
Recmd – 1 lb 13-13-13 per 100 sf = 435 lbs per ac
N = 0.13 x 435 = 56 lbs per ac
P = 56
K = 56
Recmd – N as side-dress – 0.42 lbs of 33-0-0 per 100 SF
N = 0.42 x 0.33 = 0.14 lbs per 100 SF = 61 lbs per ac
Totals:
N = 56 + 61 = 117 lbs/ac
P = 100 + 56 = 156 lbs/ac
K = 56 lbs/ac
