6/6/2026 – Spread with little green Scotts Whirl Hand-Powered Spreader:
- Kitchen yard including beds to get the roses and the grass areas on the outside of the interior bed. About 1,400 SF
- The front yard dead areas and the grass surrounding them. Especially the area next to the crepes that are showing yellowing leaves. Roughly 10,800 SF
- Total covered was about 1500 SF, whereas the two 7 lb bags were to cover 1000 SF. Ordered another bag.
This was the first time to spread it. It is very fine with some dust. Set the spreader on 3 and it seemed to cover ok, leaving some to go perpendicular for better coverage on the high-risk area.
