Continue Reading8/20/2020, cloudy afternoon – For the first time, sprayed all roses with sulfur for black spot on other fungal diseases. 8/21/2020, 8 AM – Drenched all roses to wash off the sulfur and prevent sunlight damage to leaves. Also to wash the sulfur into the soil to help prevent issues there.

Continue Reading5/22/2020 – Fed all the roses with the concoction below that was added to 4 gallons of water (16 quarts) in a 5-gallon bucket. Mixing was much easier done this way and the feeding went much quicker.
Continue Reading5/19/2020 – Sprayed Epsom salt on the two rows of tomatoes and peppers in the Garden. Sprayed all the roses. The spray was mixed at 1 tbsp per gallon and it took almost 2 gallons.
Continue Reading5/16/2020 – Sprayed all the roses. Some black spot is showing up on the Knock Outs and a lot on the white floribundas outside the guest room window. Blooms this year have been great with the little-pink vining roses at the gate lasting far longer than last year when botrytis ruined them.
