For spot treatment applications with our weeds, apply the “Middle Use Rate” which is 0.085 oz/1,000 SF (2.4 grams, ¾ tsp) to one gallon of water. One gallon of spray solution will treat up to 1,000 sq. ft. Add 0.25% v/v of non-ionic surfactant (NIS) but NOT for St. Augustine applications*. Not all spoons are alike. In order to ensure proper use rate, the spoon should be tested and weighed first. Spray to wet only.

  • The low rate is 0.057 oz. or 1.6 grams or ½ tsp per gallon of water.
  • The high rate is 0.113 oz. or 3.2 grams or 1 tsp per gallon of water.

Other:

  • Dallisgrass is labeled at the Middle and High Rate for two applications with the second 2-4 weeks after the first.
  • Clean tank with 1% ammonia solution.
  • Do not use on Bahiagrass.
  • * It is advised not to use a surfactant during spot treatment on St. Augustine grasses because of the risk of damage it can cause to the turf.

Tank Cleanup

  • 3% Domestic Ammonia at 1% of the rinsate to completely fill tank.
  • Agitate/Recirculate for 10 minutes.
