3/22/2020 – The area where the cabbage is growing needs to be prepared and planted with corn. So, all cabbage heads were harvested. The Earl Flat Dutch, that did not germinate well, only had 3 heads. The Early Jersey Wakefield did very well.

3/11/2020 – We have pulled a couple of cabbage heads but today we picked 9 with the help of Piper and Olivia. There is still a lot that has not become firm like the ones we picked.
Continue ReadingSmall holes up to 1/2″ diameter are appearing in the Florida Broadleaf Mustard and in the Chinese Cabbage in the yard garden. Sprayed the tops almost to drop and some under the canopy with Spinosad. Did not see much damage to the still-small beets but sprayed to anyway as they are next to the mustard.
