Plowed Corn Due to Packed Soil and Small Weeds

Gardening

5/2/2023 – The heavy rains since the corn was sowed and came up had the rows packed hard. There were small 2-4 leaf weeds popping up so the plowing took care of both. The corn is about 6-8 inches tall and thin.

5/3/2023 – As the cultivator did not run centered on the row, I had to work one side with the wobble hoe to kill the small weeds but mostly to break up the hard crust that was as much as one inch thick.
