5/18/2019 – Mary had ordered the bulbs along with the glads from American Meadows and planted them in the bed immediately south of the kitchen door among the daylilies. She planted a bag of 25 Acidanthera Callianthus, commonly known as the Peacock Orchid, whose “beautiful blooms produce a sweet scent, adding a delicate allure to both gardens and bouquets”.
