Bush Bean Planting Information: Plant your bush bean seeds outdoors directly in the garden after your last frost date. For a quicker start, you can soak your seeds for 1 to 4 hours in warm water. If you soak the seeds for too long, they will split, rot, or may not germinate! Germination is improved when soil temperature is above 65°F. Plant in 2 to 3 week intervals for a steady harvest until about 3 months before the first killing frost in the fall. Plants can grow 12 to 24″ tall.
