Drew Rows for Garden, Spread Fertilizer, & Hilled

Gardening

9/2/2022 – Given the 10 feet of sorry tomato seedlings now in the center of a clean south-half garden the rows were laid out off the tomatoes.

Using the recent row-building process, the rows were identified by driving the tractor across the plot. Then 15-0-15+Iron was spread between the tire tracks. Then the hills were pulled over the fertilizer.

Wider rows for squash were made by running the read wheel beside the previous track thereby adding about a foot to the row spacing.

When drove up and drove over the existing tomatoes, I forgot about the fertilizer and began hilling at the end of the tomato row. So, there is no fertilizer under that part of the row. All other rows were built correctly.
