4/6/2012 – The seedlings listed below show some frost damage but seem to be coming through it. Today the weaker ones were thinned to achieve the following.
- Thin Delta Squash on the south end of the 2nd row to 1 every 18-24″
- Thin Golden Bush Scallop Summer Squash 18-30″ apart
- Thin Tromboncino Squash to every 36-48″. Row 3, south end
- Thin cucumbers to 12 in. apart.
Those seeds did germinate with the early morning temps dipping into the 50° range. The Hales Best Cantaloupes and Pazola Zucchini did not germinate at the colder soil temps.
