Sidedressed, picked first KW Bush Beans, & sprayed Sevin

Gardening

5/29/2019 – Side dressed the cucumbers with 34-0-0. They have many blooms, one 6″ cuke we picked, and some other smaller cukes.

Mary side dressed the peppers with Miracle Grow as it poured through the hay mulch.

First picking of the Kentucky Wonder Bush Beans yielded enough for a meal for us with leftovers and a meal’s worth we gave to Peggy.

Holes in leaves appeared so sprayed with Sevin on the:

  • north end of the PEPH peas as there were holes in the leaves and spot sprayed along the rows where there was a little damage
  • sunflowers
  • zinnias in the internal row
  • okra
