Continue Reading9/10/2021 – Resowed Oregon Giant Snow Peas from SESE in the large long gaps along the rail fence in Mary’s Garden. A mole ate most of the first sowing before they broke ground. Resowed them 1 inch deep and 3 inches apart. The mole better find something else to eat.

Continue Reading8/31/2021 – The rains from Hurricane Ida ended this morning after dumping 13″ of water on the plants. This feeding with 8-8-8 was to replace the nutrients that were washed out. Okra Corn Peppers Tomatoes Squash Basil The green beans that are very small will likely need some help once they get a little bigger.

Continue Reading8/25/2021 – Pulled the struggling Super Sweet 100 Tomatoes in Mary’s Garden that were growing on the fence. Their production has fallen—likely due to the heat—and a few are about to die. Pulled up the taller weeds and tilled it for Oregon Giant Snow Peas.
