Pulling up Tallow Trees at Mary’s Springs
1/17/2020 – After Justice Williamson knocked down the piles of dirt at the hole at the barn, he went to the Creek Field and pulled out tallow trees along the south side of Mary’s Springs. He left about 8:30 PM. He returned 1/19/2020 and clear a lot more.

Small holes up to 1/2″ diameter are appearing in the Florida Broadleaf Mustard and in the Chinese Cabbage in the yard garden. Sprayed the tops almost to drop and some under the canopy with Spinosad. Did not see much damage to the still-small beets but sprayed to anyway as they are next to the mustard.

1/14/2020 – Planted 10 feet of a wide row of each of the following in 2019’s row 10. Lettuce seeds germinated quickly and well after about 17 hours of soaking inside at 71 F. The soil was moist from a light rain and that also had to help the germination.
