Continue Reading6/25/2019 – The small ML Tomatoes Mary rooted and we planted in Row 16 were getting tall and falling over on the hay/mulch. Even the ones that were not touching the hay developed black spots that appears to be a fungus. Tied them up with string and sprayed them to drip with liquid copper fungicide.

This included the: G90, 2nd planting; Cherokee White; Black; and the Silver King. Sidedressed Okra as it has been about 6 weeks (too long as they are bearing) Also side-dressed zinnias in that row to see what happens.

Continue ReadingThe white dots on the leaves are showing up in some places so I sprayed those areas with new Sevin. Those locations had older leaves as opposed to most areas having new leaves due to the heavy pruning on April 6, 2019. The new growth did not have any white dots.
