Applied Ash to Tomatoes

4/10/2022 – Spread pecan wood ash from the fireplace around each 12-18 inch high tomato plant as some are blooming. See the info here. Per the references on that page the ash will add potash and calcium. It should also assimilate quickly into the soil and be taken up by roots.
