Mary sowed marigold and zinnia seeds in the wide row on the west edge of the north half. The varieties were:

- Zinnia Elegans Dahlia Flowered Canary Bird from Outside Pride (yellow)
- Marigold, French Queen Sophia from Johnny’s in 2020
- Zinnia Red Beauty from SESE in 2021
