Mowed Down Corn, Peas, & Beans
7/11/2022 – The corn is all brown and we have all the peas we need. The Kentucky Wonder Beans did not produce even one pod. Also mowed the high crabgrass along the Sunflower row and beside the okra in the north half.

6/8/2022 – A few stink bugs appeared on the tomatoes yesterday and today there were more. Sprayed them with Gordon’s Bug-No-More at 5 oz./gallon. Sprayed 1.5 gallons on the 75 feet of row. 6/9/2022, 7 AM – Picked tomatoes and found no stink bugs.

Given the 4″+ rain this past week and the corn is tasseling and the squash blooming. I side-dressed them with 13-13-13. The idea of using a balanced fertilizer, rather than just nitrogen, is to replenish the nutrients washed out by the rain while adding nitrogen.
