Continue Reading3/18/2020 – Time to fertilize the citrus trees. Threw 15-0-15 under the small canopies and out at least 1 foot. Did the same to the peach and pear trees as they are leafing out and blooming. As the Bridal Wreaths are blooming some this year (more than ever before) threw some around them.
Continue Reading2/23/2020 – Sprayed the citrus trees with Spinosad about 5 PM as learned the sun quickly degrades its effectiveness. The last spray was midday on a sunny day. The intent is to kill leafminers and aphids.

Continue Reading10/7/2019 – Sprayed Capt. Jack’s Dead Bug Brew (spinosad) on only the citrus trees in the citrus grove as the leaf miners are still there. The last spraying made a difference and probably should have re-sprayed a few weeks ago.

Per that advice, this application is the final one of four. Also poured same on the bay tree and the three little Sunset Magic Crepe Myrtles. The crepes are blooming.
