Sowed Tendergreen Mustard

Gardening

10/24/2023 – Sowed about 25 ft of Tendergreen Mustard in the Basil row next to the pepper row in the SW corner of the big garden; i.e. 56 ft from the east fence in mid row.

The row had been built with 13-13-13 under the hill in August but it never rained. The drip line was there for the basil and shallots on either end of the new mustard row. Tilled and weeded with the 4-tine hoe then raked level and scattered the seeds from the paper envelopes corner. Looked like they fell spaced out enough so hopefully that worked well.

Lightly raked the damp soil where the seeds had fallen. Rolled them in with the wide back wheel of the original plastic seeder.
