As the dirt in the pond area, as dealt with when planting the magnolias, is compacted and hard, we sowed Annual Ryegrass around the magnolias & oleanders to get the benefit of the deep roots to help break up the soil.
Mary has treated the oleanders and magnolias for ants too many times. Mixed Extinguish into the seed and spread both with the Cyclone Seeder.
