8/21/2024 – Sidedressed okra with 13-13-13. Watered it in. The splineless has been producing but now has few blooms. It has also been dry for 3+ weeks. Put the drip tube on them 2 days ago.

Resprayed Gly garden and missed places on ditch bank
8/20/2024 – Sprayed garden 2 wks ago with Gly+24D did not damage the large crabgrass. Mix was 2 oz/gal of gly and 1 oz/gal 24D. Broadleaf did die. It was also afternoon and hot so maybe Gly evaporated too much.

6/17/2024 – Sidedressed both rows of okra with 33-0-0 plus about 1 Tbsp/row of Borax per the 2024 Vegetable Crop Handbook for Southeastern United States. Used wheel hoe with wobble hoe to weed and blend in fertilizer. Thunderstorms possible this afternoon.

5/30/2024 – Sprayed tomatoes with Liquid Copper Fungicide at 5 oz/gal and the Cucumbers that have just started to bear with Epsom salts at 1 tbsp/gallon. This was the first spraying of fungicide on the tomatoes. Likely should have started at least a week ago.

5/29/2024 – A few stink bugs appeared on the tomatoes yesterday and today there were more. Sprayed them with Gordon’s Bug-No-More at 5 oz./gallon. Sprayed 1.5 gallons on the 75 feet of row. That product is no longer made. The active ingredient was zeta-permethrin. Ordered Bug Buster from HOSS to replace it.

5/25/2024 – Peppers have a little bacterial leaf spot. Sprayed with 3 tsp/gal of Liquid Copper Fungicide. Had an hour before sprayed them with Epsom Salts at 1 tbsp/gal.
