Continue Reading8/14/2020 – The peppers are finally beginning to have fruit after the blooms. Side dressed them lightly and look forward to the rain this afternoon, hopefully, so it is washed in. Threw the nitrogen on top of the marigolds and zinnias very lightly. Maybe a 4-8 white pellets per square foot.

Continue Reading8/11/2020 – Sprayed mancozeb on the blue and jack-o-lantern pumpkins and the zuchinni as there are a few white spots and a little downy mildew. Also sprayed lightly the seedlings that have come up in the winter squash rows on the east side.

Continue Reading8/1/2020 – 8/1/2020 – Given the almost daily rains for the past week, sprayed Mancozeb on the pumpkins and white scalloped squash in Row 5. Small white spots are appearing on the leaves and hopefully, this will stop it.
Continue Reading7/31/2020 – Used 4-tined hoe to break up soil around the young plants. They are 6-8″ high and about 12-16″ wide given the good germination. Sprinkled about 1.5 handfuls of 8-8-8+Borax. around the blue and jack-o-lantern pumpkins and the white scalloped squash as they did not have any under them when sowed.
