9/21/2021 – To replace nutrients washed out by the more than 20″ of rain in August and September to date, spread about 30 lbs. of the time-release fertilizer bought today from Greenway (formerly AGRI-AFC. The amount was light on all beds but heavier around the roses.
The idea is to replace the lost nutrients in a slow manner while also adding the long list of minor nutrients this mix contains. Given the slow release of the 7.54% Urea Nitrogen, the hope is this will not cause a growth spurt late in the season.
The old azaleas along the north side of the backyard and the one south of the blueberries and the blueberries were not fed.
