4/4/2023 – Bought a 3-gallon, 24-inch tall, Ruby Red Grapefruit from Ted & Nancy’s that was grown by Turner Farms Nursery. Planted it where the westmost Myer Lemon had been that froze two years ago.
- The tag said it is for Zones 8-11
- For a low temperature of 20°.
- Turner Farms Nursery is located at 3645 Driskell Loop Rd. N, Wilmer, AL.
- Ripens from November through May.
- Never let it dry out the first year
- Fertilize 3-4 times per year.
4/10/2023 – pH of the root ball was 6.0 and the existing dirt around the root ball was 6.5-6.6.
