07/28/2023 – Cut the tops out of the blueberry bushes as the berries are gone. After years of thinking they need to be shorter, we finally pruned them down to about 6-7 feet tall. That was about 1.5 feet shorter than in the past. The debris filled the truck bed. 07/31/2023

7/7/2023 – Found carpenter ants in 8-10 pecan trees in the orchard. Also in the northmost tree next to the pole barn and the southmost tree near the house that had been struck by lightning. Killed them with Bifrin IT at 1 oz/gal. They were also around the Sand Pear tree and the Old Oak.
