6/29/2019 – Pulled about 10 ears and did not find any ear worms. G90 corn from the first planting has had to date at least 50% ear worm damage. That is over more than 150 ears.

Continue ReadingSprayed new Sevin lightly on emerging corn silks–other than the first planting–to hopefully prevent earworms. This included the: G90, 2nd planting; Cherokee White; Black; and the Silver King. Sidedressed Okra as it has been about 6 weeks (too long as they are bearing) Also side-dressed zinnias in that row to see what happens.
