7/15/2020 – On this hot morning before an all afternoon series of thunderstorms, we widened the narrow bed along the driveway (in the Magnolia Frescati “yard”). It was widened about a shovel width and is now about 3.5 feet wide. Only the large white rose in the center hangs outside the edge.
The sod was replanted:
- in the dead-grass space along the curve in the asphalt immediately north of the bed.
- Along the asphalt under the oak near the new deck where rainwater ran off the asphalt and keeps the grass washed out. The intent is that the higher sod will divert the rainwater further north along the asphalt.
