7/7/2023 – Found carpenter ants in 8-10 pecan trees in the orchard. Also in the northmost tree next to the pole barn and the southmost tree near the house that had been struck by lightning. Killed them with Bifrin IT at 1 oz/gal. They were also around the Sand Pear tree and the Old Oak.
Continue Reading11/01/2022 – Spreader Pendulum 2G to prevent Burweed from germinating with the cyclone seeder set on 2. Spread it in the areas below. Roughly half the 40 lb. silver metallic bag was spread. The remaining half bag will be spread in early spring on spots in the yard to prevent crabgrass and other weed germination.

Continue Reading3/18/2020 – Time to fertilize the citrus trees. Threw 15-0-15 under the small canopies and out at least 1 foot. Did the same to the peach and pear trees as they are leafing out and blooming. As the Bridal Wreaths are blooming some this year (more than ever before) threw some around them.
