12/31/2019 – While cutting back daylilies for Rust the extensive weed growth in the beds was clear and would be hours pulling it all out. Determined the one with the deep white roots that cause it to come back quickly is Florida Betony.
Mary used the 4-pronged “claw” and pulled up the ones in the beds along the front of the house and the driveway bed. I leveled and cleaned up the pulled weeds.
1/6/2020 – Initially the weeds wilted but have rebounded. The tank full of chemicals I sprayed had been mixed sometime before. Mixed a fresh tank of 2,4-D/Mecopop/Dicamba and Mary sprayed them again today.
