9/6/2020 – Diseases took some of the Jack-o-Lantern pumpkin plants and left holes in the extra wide row. Loosened the soil in two 5’x3′ plots and pulled the edges in so they are raised about 4″.
Planted left over daikon radish seeds 1/2″ deep in three rows about 8″ apart in each plot.
9/9/2020 – New plants are coming up.
Early Oct. – The heat caused most to only produce long thin roots. All was removed when the pumpkin row was turned into Rows 5A, 5B, and 5C. The 8″ row spacing could work but have to keep seeds/plants spaced out 2″ to 4″.
