11/27/2020 – Given the 90% chance of rain this evening, I side dressed where we have harvested broccoli, chard, and the three K-Y cabbages. Dribbled a little 66-0-0 along both sides and used the stirrup hoe to breakup the top 1/2″ to somewhat blend in the pellets.
As I read that beets need a lot of nitrogen, I scattered over the small beets plants only a little nitrogen. Did not work it into the soil.
In the little garden, the broccoli plants have dead leaf edges and found several sites that said such can be due to nitrogen deficiency. Mary fed them Miracle Grow with fish emulsion.
