For spot treatment applications with our weeds, apply the “Middle Use Rate” that is 0.085 oz/1,000 SF (2.4 grams, ¾ tsp) to one gallon of water. One gallon of spray solution will treat up to 1,000 sq. ft. Add 0.25% v/v of non-ionic surfactant (NIS) but NOT for St. Augustine applications. Not all spoons are alike. In order to ensure proper use rate, the spoon should be tested and weighed first. Spray to wet only.

  • The low rate is 0.057 oz. or 1.6 grams or ½ tsp per gallon of water.
  • The high rate is 0.113 oz. or 3.2 grams or 1 tsp per gallon of water.

Other:

  • Dallisgrass is labeled at the Middle and High Rate for two applications with the second 2-4 weeks after the first.
  • Clean tank with 1% ammonia solution.
  • Do not use on Bahiagrass.
  • It is advised not to use a surfactant during spot treatment on St. Augustine grasses because of the risk of damage it can cause to the turf.
