7/17/2019 – The peas, G-90 corn, Silver King Corn, squash, and cucumbers were done and the freezer is full. Within 3 weeks we need to plant the first of the fall garden and have to get the east side ready. So, mowed them down and will disk those areas tomorrow.
We have also decided to give up on the five rows of Kentucky Wonder Bush Beans planted late on the west side. They did not germinate very well and the weeds are taking over. The first rows that produced were not much yield. Maybe too much nitrogen in the original broadcast application.
