Moved daylilies to the new beds between the camellias

Yard

11/3/2019 – We moved daylilies from the crepe myrtle bed along the road to the new beds between the camellias along the north-south wood fence next to the pecan orchard. There are now 25 plants in each of the two beds along the fence.

Mary put two double handfuls of alfalfa pellets in the bottom of each hole and I mixed them into the dirt. The next day we side dressed each plant with cottonseed meal.

The daylilies mostly came from the Crepe Myrtle bed and a few came from bed outside the dining room & studio and one from outside the guest room.

Daylilies were topped after replanting. Notice the tuffs of green.
