Harvested all Butternuts before frost/freeze tomorrow

Gardening

11/30/2020 – Tomorrow the low temperature at daybreak is predicted to be 28°—actually was 25°. Harvested all the squash with most of them from the South Anna butternut squash vines.

Pulled up several of the South Anna butternuts and White Scalloped squash (no fruit but the vines were still alive) and there appeared to be only a few RKN nodules, but there were a few.

Rinsed them in well water then spread them on top of and below the small white table in the office for two weeks to cure and some to finish ripening.
