First time to flood rows for irrigation

5/13/2020 – This has been a very dry spring and we are again weeks since a good rain and nothing significant predicted for the next week. Watering with the wand has proven ok but now that the 1st corn is shoulder height that is not practical and the corn is curling.

Laid the hose down in the middle of the rows on the south end and within 10-15 minutes the row was flooded.

Flooded all the rows in the north half and the 4 rows of corn (3rd planting) in the south half.
