Fertilized Ranger’s pasture

5/14/2020 – Spread on the old garden, now known as Ranger’s Pasture, 200 lbs. of 15-00-15 at 200 lbs./acre on the 1.1 acres; i.e. 49,200 SF. That is about 4 lbs per 1,000 SF.

The JD Spreader setting was 2-1/4 that should have been the 4 lbs per 1,000 SF. But, I was going faster than I should have and so went over parts of it twice and the corners to be sure there were no misses. The section at the road was hit twice as was the area in front of the shed and immediately north of the garden.

Ranger has eaten it down to almost nothing … but still needs to loose weight.
