3/4/2021 – The Jacks Citrus FeED 20-10-20 by JR Peters arrived today. Mixed it per the instructions at 1 tbsp per gallon; i.e. 2 tbsp in the 2-gallon watering cans. Poured one can—2 gallons—on each of the lemon, satsuma trees, and the blood orange tree; including the one at the garden.
The Meyer lemon was also very damaged by the intense, low 20’s, nights and hopefully, this will help them recover.
The remaining Hamlin Orange on the west edge of the fruit tree grove was also badly dinged by the deep freezes. The two smaller ones in the garden were pulled out a couple of weeks ago as they were so damaged there was no chance they would be more than sticks this year.
