Cut Daylilies and Sprayed for Rust

Yard

12/31/2019 – Several weeks ago Mary cut back some of the daylily clumps that had rust and yellow/brown leaves. The cut removed all leaves about 2″ above the ground. They are already putting up new shoots and looking healthy. Will need to watch to see how they do with the cold days. So far, the couple of frosts has not touched the new shoots.

Today, we cut back all others that had a bad rust issue and pulled leaves with rust from others.

1/???/2020 – Sprayed all daylilies with 4 oz. of Propiconazole 14.3 in 2 gallons of water with a three-count squirt of Dawn Ultra.
