2/11/2020 – Mary found Cottony Cushion Scale, Scientific Name, Icerya purchasi, on the Knockout Rose at the Guest Room window. Sprayed them with Neem Oil as well as all the roses either side of the front door. This is the first time we have seen this strange-looking insect. See the followup below.
2/23/2020 – A few remain on the rose. Drenched them again with neem oil.
