4/20/2021 – The volunteer Beach Sunflowers in the garden need to be moved and only a few have come up in the crepe myrtle beds and rose bed along the rail fence of the pond yard. We transplanted them into the crepe beds in the pond yard after turning over the soil with the garden spade. There are some volunteer marigolds coming up but not evenly. Spaded around them and will plant more.
We trimmed the freeze damaged leaves and stems from the two pair of oleanders. Trimmed down to the live stems but do not see any new growth other than a few new shots from the root ball.
Pulled weeds and rye grass from the large new blueberry near the martin house.
