3/15/2020 – We pulled out everything from the winter garden except for the green onions and one parsley plant.
Tilled it with the TroyBilt cultivator about 6″ deep. The soil was hard-packed. Need to add organics so added 50 lbs of old cottonseed meal.
3/17/2020 – Spread 50 lbs. of year-old cottonseed meal all areas other than where the green onions are growing.
UPDATE – Spreading that much was a MAJOR mistake. See the many posts about the efforts to remedy the high acidity condition created by that much cottonseed meal.
