7/18/2020 – Used the Stihl hedge trimmer to:
- Top the three taller bushes; one at the south end of the row and the two north-most bushes.
- Trimmed the too-tall shoots on all the others in the row
The two original blueberry bushes next to the row of original azaleas–and the driveway to the barnyard–were cut down to about 3 feet high. The last couple of years they have had few berries due, we believe, to their getting little direct sunlight.
That was done in preparation to relocate them this winter to the Pond Yard.
