Transplanted Mortgage Lifter Tomatoes

Gardening

A month or so ago Mary planted the last of the Mortgage Lifter seeds in some 2″ seedling squares. They have far outgrown the little pots. Perhaps due to our neglect other than watering them and leaving them outside. They are 12-14″ high with white nodules on the stalks where roots are trying to form in the air…I guess.

Planted 8 of them in the part of Row 16 immediately north of the six indeterminate tomatoes bought at Lowes. Those are either Better Boys or Big Boys.

They were planted 6-8″ deep so the white nodules are all in the ground.

Forgot to add the Black Kaw composite manure or any cotton seed meal.
