Continue Reading5/16/2020 – Spread 13-13-13 to just beyond the leaf line on: all citrus and fruit trees in their small orchard the satsuma and sand pear tree at the garden Threw some into the aspidistra hoping that will make them start growing.
Continue Reading3/18/2020 – Time to fertilize the citrus trees. Threw 15-0-15 under the small canopies and out at least 1 foot. Did the same to the peach and pear trees as they are leafing out and blooming. As the Bridal Wreaths are blooming some this year (more than ever before) threw some around them.

Continue Reading8/1/2019 – The leaves have brown dead places and ragged holes in some of them. Clearly, some type of fungus but could not be sure which. Sprayed the leaves and trunk to drip with liquid copper.
Continue ReadingThrew about three hands full of 34-0-0 around each of the little peach trees and the pear tree in the wildflower plot. Also put the old hay as a mulch around them as well as the Satsuma–just west of the wildflowers–and holly tree (Christmas Tree).
