10/4/2019 – Should have done this several weeks ago but concerned it would make the flea beetle issue worse. They have not returned since the last spraying of Bug-no-More and the hot sun and no rain in over a month is stressing the plants.
The frequent southerly winds have blown the vines toward the north exposing the stems coming out of the ground to the sun. The hay will shelter them.
