6/27/2020 – Mary sowed two onion seeds and one leek seed in each cell in one of the ten 72-cell seed trays we bought. There are 24 cells with onions and 12 cells with leeks sowed in Miracle Grow potting soil. The onions and leeks from HOSS were Warrior Bunching Onions and Matejko Leeks.
The tray was put on a short table in the south window of the office so the soil temp will be in the low 70’s needed for germination.
They will be moved into the garden in 4-6 weeks…hopefully.
This is the first sowing for the fall garden so we will be getting a much earlier start than last year.
